About Pack 248

Hello and Welcome to Pack 248's Website!

Pack 248 is located in the Village of Zions View, north of York, in the Northeastern School District.  Many of the scouts attend Conewago Elementary, Orendorf Elementary, Mount Wolf Elementary, York Haven Elementary, Shallow Brook Intermediate, and Spring Forge Intermediate Schools. The Pack was started in 2005 due to the increasing number of families moving into the area.  It started as a mighty group of five scouts and has grown in just a few short years!

The Pack is very active, with meetings and outings occuring throughout the year.  Den Meetings, where the boys meet in groups according to their age, are held the first three weeks of each month during the school year.  It is during this time that the boys and their leaders focus on games, activities, and crafts; and work toward meeting the requirements of their rank. Then at the last meeting of the month, all of the boys and their families come together for the Pack Meeting.  This is an opportunity for the boys to really shine!  They are able to share what they have learned and receive recognition for the accomplishments they have made and the goals they have achieved.

In addition to these opportunities, the Pack participates in outings, such as hiking, camping, snow tubing, skating, attending ball games and amusement parks, swimming and so much more!  The Pack is also involved with helping the community through food and shelter drives, participating in a Memorial Day Service, and interacting with a local retirement facility.

With a dedicated group of leaders and active and involved parents, Pack 248 is able to offer a quality, educational and FUN program for the boys of the area.
